Hobby School Rules

These rules apply to Happy Classes Steam MTÜ hobby-school programmes. They form part of the Educational Services Agreement where you have had access to them before entering into the Agreement.

Payment, notice and ending the contract are in the Educational Services Agreement you sign. Photographs, video and other personal data are described in the Privacy Notice.

Who the rules apply to

  • The rules apply to students, parents or guardians, and teachers and staff on Happy Classes Steam MTÜ hobby-school programmes.
  • The parent shall ensure, as far as reasonably possible considering the student’s age, that the student follows these rules and reasonable organisational and safety instructions.

Attendance and notifying us

  • Arrive on time and attend lessons as regularly as reasonably possible.
  • Tell us of an absence as early as reasonably possible, in writing to info@happyclasses.ee.

Arrival, pickup, premises and equipment

  • Arrival and pickup must keep the student safe, taking the student’s age into account. A younger child is brought and collected by a parent or by a person the parent has named.
  • Treat the premises, furniture, tools and other students’ work with care. Follow the teacher’s instructions when using tools, materials and equipment.

Conduct and a safe learning environment

  • Treat other students, teachers and staff with respect. Follow reasonable behavioural, educational and safety instructions.
  • Behaviour that endangers others or persistently prevents teaching is not allowed.
  • Mobile phones and other devices are used in a lesson only when the teacher allows it.

Health

  • Keep the student at home if they are ill or may infect others.
  • Tell us in writing about health or safety information the teachers need in order to run the lesson safely.
  • In an emergency we contact the parent using the details you have given us.

If the rules are broken

  • We may take reasonable measures necessary to protect the safety, welfare and learning environment of students and staff.
  • Serious or repeated breach of these rules may lead to ending participation under the Educational Services Agreement. We take the circumstances and the student’s age into account.
